Produced from hardened stainless steel for optimal cutting effect. Used for clipping the nails of large dogs.
Instructions:
Hold paw firmly during clipping. Clip the tip of the claw with a single operation of the clippers. Do not clip too far in to avoid the vein in the claw.
Clip a small amount at a time on very long claws, leaving a week in between to encourage the vein to withdraw.
The vein is visible on clear claws. Clip well short of it. Clip a little portion of the claw at a time for dark claws.
File the claw after clipping with a KW SMART Nail File to remove sharp edges.
Consult a vet for extremely long claws.
