Used to remove solid mats of tangled fur.
Instructions: Removing dense tangles: Cut with short strokes into the tangled coat, rotating with the wrist. Never force the KW Smart Mat Remover through the fur, as this is not only uncomfortable for the animal, but also ineffective.
Removing tangled knots: Hold the coat at the hair roots to avoid pulling the skin. Work from the outer hair ends towards the roots using short movements. Cut using the KW Smart Mat Remover alternating with brushing using a KW Smart Flex Card to protect the coat as much as possible.
Tip: Spray a little cleaning spray on the fur before using the KW Smart Mat Remover. In this way, the knot is more easily untangled.
