The Paikka Slow Feed ceramic bowl is much more than just an attractive dog bowl.
The integrated 3D bone in the bowl makes it more difficult for the dog to pick up its food. This forces the dog to eat more slowly, rather than swallowing the food.
But the Paikka bowl has another great feature. It is capable of cooling. The bowl is made of a specially patented ceramic, so when poured with cold water for 45 seconds, a cooling effect occurs.
Using the bowl for water keeps it cool longer. For wet food, it prolongs freshness, while for barf, it enables a slow and controlled thawing process.
