A large part of the idea behind the ESSENTIAL meals is to keep the dog's blood sugar stable. Just as it has been noticed in humans, it applies to dogs (even to an even greater degree) that if the blood sugar goes up and down, it can cause big swings mentally and physically. All ESSENTIAL meals have been put together with the intention of avoiding these variations, to create a new standard in dog food. The principle we have developed is called BOF (Behavioural Optimizing Foods) and it has been very well received.

ESSENTIAL is available in 3kg and 10kg. In the 3 kg bag, the croquette is adapted for smaller dogs weighing up to 10kg while the 10kg is for dogs weighing 10+kg
