Here's how to properly use the FURminator Long Hair brush:

1. Ensure your cat's fur is clean and completely dry.
2. Inspect your cat for any wounds, scratches, or injuries. If you find any, seek professional help from a vet or licensed cat groomer. Avoid using the FURminator on areas with wounds or injuries.
3. Gently comb the FURminator in the direction of your cat's fur, using long strokes and avoiding repetitive strokes in the same spots. Take extra care around sensitive areas such as the abdomen, legs, genitals, and anus. Avoid applying too much pressure with the FURminator, as excessive pressure can cause redness and irritation to the skin. If you notice any redness, stop combing immediately.
4. Regularly remove excess hair from the FURminator using the button, ensuring efficient fur removal and maintaining the brush's effectiveness.
